For our Almaty Project (Kazakhstan), Renco is looking for a Project Control Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

• Is responsible for project control through EVM (Earned Value Management) analysis;
• Develops the Project Planning and Control procedure, including the part related to active reporting (Invoicing/Billing - e.g., Progress Certificates or SAL, Request for Payment);
• Identifies and maintains updated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the project;
• Defines with the Project Manager the "Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB)" relating to: Scope Baseline, Schedule Baseline, Cost Baseline;
• Coordinates the Project Planner and the Project Cost Controller in the creation and management of the WBS and the CBS, respectively;
• Liaises with the Project Planner and the Project Cost Controller to ensure that the data is consistent with the PMB;
• Monitors and ensures the consistency of ETC (Estimated To Complete) and EAC (Estimated At Completion) data;
• Develops the monthly and quarterly Budget analysis and forecast to be submitted to the Project Manager for evaluation/approval;
• Is responsible for producing the reports requested by the Client and those necessary for internal job/project control;
• Is responsible for the operational site planning (or construction planning);
• Elaborates the project risk analysis and measures and controls the level of exposure, communicating any deviation to the Project Manager and suggesting possible recovery actions;
• Assists the Project Manager, the Project Planner, and the Project Cost Controller with any planning or cost issue;
• Is responsible for collecting all the documentation relevant to their role.

REQUIRED COMPETENCES

• He has a consolidated knowledge of the most common scheduling and planning optimization techniques (Critical Path Method, Critical Chain, forwards/backwards pass, fast tracking, crashing, acceleration/recovery actions);
• Is familiar with planning tools such as Primavera P6;
• Advanced user of Ms Excel (pivot tables, large databases) and Ms Word;
• Excellent ability to analyze time and costs and create reliable forecasts;
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English;
• Able to measure dimensions directly in CAD (preferential);
• Able to read project documents such as PFDs, P&IDs, civil drawings, piping and HVAC isometrics, single-line diagrams, cable lists, layouts (preferential);
• Is familiar with risk management (risk register, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in engineering (Civil preferred)
