WORK PURPOSE

The candidate will oversee, execute, and enforce site-level safety and environmental management systems

ACTIVITIES

• Will oversee the HSE engineers, supervisors and field inspectors.
• Compile reports.
• Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits to identify and correct unsafe acts or conditions.
• Oversee high-risk activity protocols, including Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
• Ensure compliance with Project standards.
• Compile, review and approve Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Risk Assessments.
• Support in investigations for accidents, injuries or near-misses and in the development of corrective/preventive action plans.
• Mentor site supervisors and contractors to foster a strong proactive safety culture.

QUALICATIONS

• Nebosh IGC or similar
• Health and Safety diploma
• Risk assessor
• Incident invesitgation
