WORK PURPOSE
The candidate will oversee, execute, and enforce site-level safety and environmental management systems
ACTIVITIES
- Will oversee the HSE engineers, supervisors and field inspectors.
- Compile reports.
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits to identify and correct unsafe acts or conditions.
- Oversee high-risk activity protocols, including Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Ensure compliance with Project standards.
- Compile, review and approve Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Risk Assessments.
- Support in investigations for accidents, injuries or near-misses and in the development of corrective/preventive action plans.
- Mentor site supervisors and contractors to foster a strong proactive safety culture.
QUALICATIONS
- Nebosh IGC or similar
- Health and Safety diploma
- Risk assessor
- Incident invesitgation
